Game Changer - ($15 for big ones/$10 for small ones)

I’m out of clever quips, but this one is pretty self explanatory, it’s the best fly out there. I can customize these however you want them but I’ve found them to be very good imitations of mackerel, herring, silversides and peanut bunker.

HOLLOW FLIES - ($15)

The flies shown below are hollows I fish and they work great for me. Most of them are articulated. Depending on what you’re looking for I can up imitation hollows that look like pogie, herring mackerel, etc. or I can tie up some attractor hollows, really what ever you need I can make happen… just let me know.

Bodie’s Fly - ($10)

This fly is a mix of Gunnar Brammers all spark bulk head, Joe Calcavecchia’s striper dragon and Johnny Kings Kinky Muddler. All credit for this pattern goes to Gunnar, Joe and Johnny. This pattern makes a crazy good mackerel pattern, herring pattern and I tie a variant that is my version of Joe’s striper dragon. These flies are big and push water, but don’t have much material on them and cast like a dream.

Mini Bodie’s Fly - ($5)

This is a mini version of the larger format fly. This fly makes a great generic baitfish pattern and can be tied to imitate peanuts, silver sides, anchovies, smelts really any small bait fish.

Hoo Fly - ($4)

Another Johnny King special. I tie these to imitate sand eels silver sides, smelts. These can really take the shape of any baitfish you want.

Truck Stop Crab - ($5)

In honor of my dear, dear, dear, dear, DEAR friend, Derek, I give you the Truck Stop Crab. Like a truck stop crab you can often find Derek lurking in bathrooms and you need a special shampoo to get rid of him…

I fish this crab on the flats or off of sandy beaches for stripers and big ones at that. Nothing gets a big bass moving quite like a big crab crawling on the bottom.

I tie green crab versions both big and small and with heavy lead eyes for off the beaches and lighter eyes (bead chain or lead) for fishing bass on the flats. I also tie these in rock crab versions. These were pretty much my most productive fly in the 2022 season.

Criag’s Micro Minnow - ($3)

In honor of my friend’s tiny translucent donger; I give you the micro minnow. This is a tiny translucent baitfish pattern tied with marabou, some flash and a mallard flank. This is a great pattern when bass and blues are on small bait and of course it’s a great fly for Albies!

Half and Half - ($5)

Probably doesn’t need much explanation but I tie mine on size 1 jig hooks to enhance the jigging action half and half’s are famous for.

Clouser - ($3)

Probably doesn’t need much explanation but I tie mine on size 1 jig hooks to enhance the jigging action clousers are famous for.

Chaim’s nosedive - ($6)

This fly sinks to the bottom almost as fast as Chaim Bloom’s Redsox sink to the bottom of the division! This is basically a surf candy tied on a jig hook with some lead eyes tied at the curve of the hook. This is a great fly for when you need to fish a Clouser but want something that matches the hatch better….

So if you’re looking for a fly that matches the hatch and has the action of a Clouser, look no further; and if you’re looking for a president of baseball operations that is especially adept at forming bad teams look no further than Chaim Fucking Bloom!!

Striper Bucktail - ($3)

This is easily one of my most productive patterns. If you spot me fishing around the Boston area, 90% chance I have one of these things on.

GSS baitfish - ($3)

Variants: Chartreuse & Pearl, Pearl, Olive & Pearl, snot bait size, peanut bunker size, bay anchovy/silverside.

Corsair Fish Head - ($3)

This fly catches anything and everything, in particular ALBIES!!!

Surf Candy - ($4)

Bob Popovics surf candy. I tie mine super sparse and I’m actually trying to make them invisible. I fish these when it looks like fish are feeding on nothing until you catch the right light and realize they are feeding on glass - glass minnows that is.

Belly Button Lint - ($4)

This is based on the baby fat minnow and is great choice when fish are on tiny bait. The marabou tale adds movement and the laser dub gives them these translucent batfish look.

Bucktail Deceiver - ($8)

Stalwart of the New England saltwater game. These things are just killer flat out. I finish some of mine with laser dub heads
